Very nice cane, your work is very good. Is it all carved in one piece of wood, or is handle attached? What type of wood?

I really love how you have pulled the dragon's neck scales down into the shaft into a pattern work design. Very nice touch. |

| | Re: Dragon ship cane finished. Thank you for the kind words my friends, it was really a joy to do. Bill....the wood is Cherry and yes, the head is attached. Both the head and shaft are laminated from two 3/4" thick scrap pieces, left-overs from that tool chest I built. Now I wouldn't feel so bad when I'm walking, that store bought plastic topped one served it's purpose, but this is better!

| | Re: Dragon ship cane finished. Bob,
Just be sure you don't lay the cane down while you're looking at something in Wally World or it's sure to disappear. You've done an excellent job on it. Very nice!!
See ya!!!
