Default Dragon and a snake

Learning how to post a picture, never post on the net before with this new computer..yiks!!!.. just finished carving today.. Basswood and koa base.

Ok I can see it... but a little fuzzy....can you see it? This is a Shawn Cipa dragon ...with my snake and koa base. I will post more pics as soon as I figure out how I got this one here... I just want to thank everyone here that post, everything you say is important to me, helps me go ahead...and just do it. And Shawn many thanks for people like you, for people like me who can not travel to a class... a book, and instructions are all I need to learn the art of carving with wood....many many thanks to everyone here....smiles Di.

Nice carving, Di. I like dragons. Yours is real nice... so is the snake. You did good on posting the pic, I hope you figure out how you did it.

What a mess...my old computer crashed with all my software and the works....got a new photo program and not happy with it. Anyway the dragon is 15'' long and the base to top is 13" one more photo... it looks like a whack the photo of the base some. Need some work on my camera skills...Di

the two look great together, how long did it take? the 3 dimensional world is very hard to carve for me anyways. you make it look easy
