Default Downsizing

Hey all,
I did a little feather for practice today. I hope it comes out. I think the wood is ebony (found it in a draw when I was cleaning out my shed, haven't seen it in 20+ years) I used my dremel again. I am getting some micro hand tools soon too, that should be fun. Have a great weekend!

Hi rz,

I am definitely a fan of yours. When I can no longer carve my sticks, I will join you in the fine miniatures you do.

FYI, I have a Wecheer high torque engraver/micro motor from Texas wood carvers supply. I use dental burrs and can get extreme detail with it. They have the best price.

I don't know if I've ever commented on your carvings, but I think you do awesome work! The detail is amazing on such small stuff. Keep it up!

Thanks Ron...I have an old paragraver that I was going to break out after 15+ years. I was going to go back to metal and glass, but the wood bug got me and I'm hooked now. Thanks for FYI, I'll check it out.
Thanks sharon...I'm just getting started and the kind words are nice. I'm also open to any critques and suggestions. Hope the leech line works! LOL
