Default Don Meertz Wins the Ron Ryan Award
I'd like to give a great big Congratulations to Don Meertz,he was the recipient of the 2008 Ron Ryan Award at the Artistry in Wood Show in Dayton OH.This award is given to a carver that goes above and beyond in the carving world,Don is a well deserved rescipent of this award,so Congratulations Don.

Thanks for your kind words. I was very honored and humbled to receive the Roy Ryan Award which left me"speechless" . The Show was a great time to see some wonderful carvings and meet new friends and fellow woodcarvers, especially those on the WCI Message Board. THANKS, Don
