Does anybody know where I can find the pattern of a dog in a bunch of bandages? A friend of mine at my carving club thinks he seen it done by Tom Wolfe either in one of his books or something. Any ideas? Now that I think about it the caption under the dog said "Lucky". The dog had one paw up in the air and bandages all over. Thanks in advance for your help.
The one you're looking for is a dog called Lucky by Gary Batte. There is a photo of the carving, but no pattern, in Gary's book "Carving Crazy Critters". You can contact Gary at gbatte@our-town.com and see if there are any patterns available.
I remember a picture from Norman Rockwell, it's not the vet picture. but one where a little boy takes his dog to a "people's doctor ".As I recall there were lots bandages. You might find it there,or give you some ideas.
