I'm thinking CarverturnerfromNowhere would probably share one. ..he just needs to spot this post...or perhaps you could PM him. He has posted some pics in his gallery of some, they might give you an idea of how one might look..

Carve a shallow bowl that is half the size of a normal spoon. Make the handle wide and flat and carve a stork into the handle. At least that is the idea I have floating around in my head for a baby spoon.

I don't really do any of the love spoon style, mostly I just do basic shapes and then animal handles. Take a look in my gallery and you can see as for a pattern if you do one with an animal for the handle, the spoon part is easy and the animal is just like carving a pin, I don't use power but WCI has had a lot of articles on carving pins. If your have an idea on what you want I could draw up a pattern and post it for you, or you could draw one yourself very simple to do. Just draw one half of what you want on the edge of a piece of paper then cut it out and trace it onto some template plastic (found in the sewing section at the walsmart) then flip it over and trace the other side and you get a symmetrical pattern. Another way is to photo copy it and then just cut the two pieces and tape them together. Carl
