I sometimes do it standing on my head just to make it a bit more difficult

well i guess im lazier than most as i FOUND a old leather office chair on the road.. its an ugly red (probaly why they tossed it out) but the leather is in great shape. it reclines way back and makes for a great comfy chair to carve in. i even put my tool chest to the right side of me so i dont have to sit up to change tools. I will admite though i have to get up every hour or so to get the chips off of me.

I spent 40 yrs standing at a work bench on cement when i worked as a mold maker in a glass plant. My legs and feet and back are beat down so bad that i have to sit, which makes it hard because i do long sticks and staffs most of the time. I usualy sit on the back porch in a swing and watch the world go by while im carving. I even have to depend on other people to get my raw wood for me "to fat to hit the hills anymore".
