Sounds like my worst nightmare ... I don't even like to go to the mail box ... different strokes ... have some friends who do a lot of rv'ing and love it. Living in one wouldn't bother me a bit, but travelling?

Ah, perchance to dream. . .
Colin,
I'll be in your neck of the woods in September for the International Carving Conference at Chipping Away in Kitchener. If others are going, maybe we could have a get-together.

Great to hear that you're going to be there. We're planning to get there on Saturday and attend the conference on Sunday. Patti, my wife, is registered to take Sue Walter's classes on Monday and Tuesday after the conference so we'll be town for a few days. Are there any must-see's in the area?

A great idea, Colin! Maybe I can do a little of that dream soon. I'm in the midst of shucking off my old life here and then heading off to the great Pacific Northwest to start anew (in many ways). Things are difficult right now (divorce proceedings, family and medical junk), but I keep watching that little light shining far off to the northwest.

I hope to start my journey west by early to mid-April and it would be cool to get to meet a few carving folks along the way.

Colin hope you make it to Texas. We have a similar dream. Doris and I hope to be able to do a few Santa seminars while traveling. Traveling and carving sounds awful nice.

Colin
Thank you for including us in your dream. What an honor that is. I need to quit working so many hours and spend more time on my carving. My little corner collects dust from time to time, but when I do get to spend time there I get lost in it and my time flys by. I share your vision.
Cheers
Ric
