| | Do you have a picture of your first carving Hi gang,
I was just answering Hugh's post on the wildlife post where he showed us a picture of his first carving. I thought wow, it would really be interesting to see a picture of all of your first carvings. I am sure that everyone kept their first carving, even me. The reason I have mine is that nobody in their right mind would buy it LOL. So if you have the ability to do so show us your first attempt. Here is mine I posted it on Picturetrail in the Tree carving album. (you can see why I havent sold it.) http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...&members=1

| | | Re: Do you have a picture of your first carving My first carving is the woodspirit in cottonwood bark that is at the bottom of the first page of my site. It now resides in the home of my 'extra mom' in Minnesota. |

| | | Re: Do you have a picture of your first carving Well I had a look see at the first carvings. To start with Cliffords slogan about carrying a big stick, dosent inspire a lot of confidence for ciriticism. And when I saw the Picture of Colin, I decided my reviews had better be good ones. :
Just kidding, It is fun to look back and remember that all has not been in vain. I liked both. Thanks |

| | Re: Do you have a picture of your first carving Colin Old Son,
Don't know how to say this politely...........but that is one Butt-Ugly looking wood spirit! He'd scare the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, out of anyone coming up the driveway. The good news is.....your carving has really improved!
That face reminds me of an inmate we once had in a prison I worked in, man was he .........well , never mind! It's a long scary story.
Best regards,
Bob |

| | | Re: Do you have a picture of your first carving Dave, that is a terrible joke, but it is worth remembering. I'll laugh about that one for days to come. I'm still laughing. Oh that carving isn't really that bad, I'm in stitches here. I just got to get off the computer and call someone and tell them about the ugly dog.
David that was a very good start. They look a lot more like a chickadee than mine looked like a duck. Keep up the good work. See where perseverance got Colin. See Dave that is being polite, you got to be nice. Hope your dog got better. |
