Default Re: When do you get on the computer each day?

Weekdays I'm on practically every morning, I like to eat my breakfast and have a cup of tea while checking e-mails, reading the newspaper on line and the posts here. Saturday morning is big breakfast with hubby, bacon, eggs that kind of breakfast, Sunday is hurry around to get ready for Church, so those days are hit or miss with any computer time.

I try to log on again early in the evening, before settling down to some TV watching with hubby and carving at my portable carving table in the livingroom. Again with a hot cup of tea..or cocoa , ahhhh, pure happiness!! Callynne

Being retired I don't have any fixed schedule so I check in at all different times. A lot less in the summer (too busy campin' and fishin')...Reg

Well like some of you other working stiffs (although in my line of work a stiff isn't a good thing), I try to get on whenever I can. Sometimes even late at night or early if I'm at work. Either way the info and good people here make it all worth it. Oh and an other thing, in case I forgot I hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and may Santa bring you all the carving stuff you wished for. have fun, carve oldbearx2

I'd love to see a picture of your portable carving table.

Being a working stiff also, (11 years from retrirement) I check the forum in the morning (about 4:00 am) and when I Get home ( 5:30 pm) also sometimes about 10:00 before beddy-bye.

I'm still gainfully employed but I'm able to check the board several times each day. "IF" I'm able to get a turn at home at night, I always check the board to see what's new.

Jerry and Carver6, click on the link at the bottom of my reply, it will take you to my Album Page. That should open on a list of Albums, the desk is in the Portable Desk one....orginial title, huh? :icon10: :icon10: Just click on it then click on the pictures to enlarge them.

The desk is terrific, the only thing I've changed is to take the diamond riffler sets off that were clipped to the back and extend the black elastic all the way across. That way I can keep more small things right at my fingertips.

The light stays on the desk all the time, it's really great to have there, I just unplug it, carry my desk out to the livingroom, plug it in by my recliner and happily carve away!

Hope the pictures help you come up with your own portable desk, if you have any questions just ask! :icon10: Callynne
