Default When do you get on the computer each day?

Hello all,
Here's a question I sometimes wonder about, especially when I'm on the computer late at night or early in the wee hours of morning. I especially notice the times of each posting to this board (and any email I get) so, yes, you could say I'm curious about the strangest things?

When, during the course of your day, do you log into this board. Before breakfast, on coffee break at work, right after lunch, before supper, middle of the night?

As for me, I sometimes log on early in the morning before I get up and stirring. Most of the time, I get on at the end of the day, when all is quiet, and I'm unwinding from work and getting ready to sleep. When I'm at work, I don't have time to do anything but work so that's a luxury I don't have. (sadly!) Weekends are a bit different--it can be anytime I want to sit and rest a bit.

The great part of the internet is that you CAN (usually) take it with you and access it from 'bout anywhere.

Donna, I guess that my schedule is similar to yours. I usually check the message board early in the morning and late evening. Because of my work, I am on and off the computer all day. So, once in a while, I'll check the message board during the day. I sorta like that early morning time though when all is quiet.

I actually check in several times during the day (I guess that's actually part of my job)...but sometimes I don't have time to bounce in except early in the morning with my first cup of coffee...

Actually, I almost never log on from home...aside from the fact that I only have dial-up at home, I kinda leave the forum at work...Unless I have a question...

I am a morning person and check this board each morning as I take my coffee and head for my carving porch. Sometimes check it again late in the evening as I head to bed. Since I am retired and at home much of the time, I occasionally check it during the day also.

It is a great way to start the day, reading about carving. Also, it means I don't tend to stay on too long since I am eager to get on out to my carving.

LOL -- each morning I stagger out of bed, turn on the computer in my carving room, turn on coffee pot in my bathroom and I'm set to go. The computer is NEVER turned off until I go to bed at night.
If I wake up during night -- I check the computer.

Probably 5 to 10 times a day. The reason being is that I am always interested in what people have to say. My wife says its because I have no friends so the only ones I have are here.(She is probably right) If I cant sleep then I get on the computer, if I am not carving I am on the computer. Regardless I like this message board and the people here and if you log on you will probably notice that I have too.

I pop in from time to time during the day
I became unable to work last year
Most of the people I know work during the day
I am not really able to do very much any more
cannot sit for long periods or stand for long periods
So I crawl out of the bed in the mornig
try and limber up
then I check the computer
different sites I like to look at
just a couple of carving sites and my email and read the highlights on the news
I might pop in 3 or 4 times some days and 0 or 1 on others

I ususally get on soon after arriving at work.....before any trouble gets to my desk. During the day, I will check for any updates 5 or 6 times.

I do also check again before going to bed each night. I use my wife's computer - I have it set up to recognize me as me.

It's good to have friends
