I recently learned the hard way about motivated volunteers soliciting carvings. Oh ya, it was a good cause, and I didn't mind donating. But suddenly the plans changed....."Oh, weren't you donating one of your Half Models, it would bring more than a Celtic Knot". Well, long story short.....he gets a half model, I usually have a few around for the summer display. Didn't know to put a minimum bid on it....so it goes for a song, or so I hear. Someone got a good deal. And I learned a lesson......now if I can only remember it! Bob

Bob,
Understand from your previous posts about the memory. Just remember NO!!
That may sound rude or harsh but sometimes people have a tendency to take advantage. Think I would have to have thought twice about donating any of your pieces. Way too nice and far too much time involved on your part. People that have never done anything compared to what you do have no understanding of what is involved. Just my opinion - for what it's worth. Take it and $1.00 and go buy yourself a cup of coffee.Wink
