Aw, thanks, you guys. Callynne, I get ideas from everywhere. On this particular guy, I was frustrated because I was carving on this chunk of wood and a santa was coming out, but I had not a CLUE what he was going to be doing....so I asked my daughter for an idea of something I might put in his hands. Now, of course, those poor people who actually live around me are sick and TIRED of looking at my 'ideas'....so she just sort of offhandedly said, 'Aw, mom, I dunno...stick a hunk of bread in his hands', rolled her eyes and went on her way. A few hours later, 'Dinner Guest' happened. There are good ideas everywhere
