Default A different type of carving

In a earlier post, I posted about my little 8 year old Granddaughter asking me if I could carve some ittems to go on her wal kind of a Glamor Girl style. Here is one of the four lipssticks carved for her and the deal was, I carve them, she paints them and then, Both names go on back of the carvings. Like
Carved by Ken Sanders
Painted by Sarah B______.
She was excited that Papa would want "Her" Name on the carving also. Well, she worked hard on painting the first one. The least I could have done for her.

So this is the one that we have completed and I will use Deft satin finish on it.
It is 8 x 2 x 1/2 inches

Nice job Ken. Never thought of that kind of thing before.

I'm sure Sarah will be very happy about her project with Grandpa.

Kenny those are the things that grandchildren keep for ever. It is important that they have some of grandpa's special carvings done just for them. Nice job and your right a different concept.

Great job there Ken! And like most other's I believe that I'm more impressed with your willingness to find a way to tie-in your granddaughter to a project most of all!

I'd rather see a lot of her's and grandpa's art up on the wall more than a bunch of Brittney Spears poster's or is this just wishful thinking in today's world?!?

Great job and thanks for posting!
