Default Diet Spoon Finished!

I had to take time out from making all the Holiday ornaments for the ornament exchange. Since the Holidays are coming, I thought I'd carve a diet spoon.

I am not sure what kind of wood it is, but I am pleased with the grain. I sure hope it works as a diet spoon.

Great spoon Wanda. I love the grain. I think it is whole grain, so it is probably very healthy to use.

Maybe I should have included this photo to explain why I call this a diet spoon! I made one for Tucker's (Cliff Nelson) widow with a memory charm under it. It has a dicroic glass heart on one side and a photo of Cliff on the backside. She can wear it attached to the spoon, (which was one of Cliff's favorite things to carve) or she can detach it and wear it on a chain. Either way, she can keep him close to her heart.

I thought the little spoon was so cute, I made myself one.
