I just wanted to pass on a neat tip for protecting your knives and gouges with a packing foam material that the auto parts companies ship car hoods with.. these multi-colored L-shaped pieces of foam are great for shielding your tools while you are not using them..they should be found at most crinkle-fixer shops...the shop we get 'em from gives them away..free

Good idea! I would be careful that the foam does not trap moisture between the tool and the foam. It might cause some rusting of the tools.
