| | Re: Dayton Woodcarving Show - Day 1 Thanks Lynn for posting the pictures.. Nice carvings but to me, not one was as great a carving as your river carving with the moose etc... It was the best of these for sure.. I appreciate the pictures... Charlotte |

| | Re: Dayton Woodcarving Show - Day 1 Lynn,
I have to say , your work is outstanding. I try to catch up to you , but sadly I was not able to find you. I did spend some time admiring your carvings and speaking with your lady ... Who gave the a report on your feet hurting and how you were unable to stay still . Perhaps next year.
Meeting Mark and his father was a real pleasure. I will say this as well, nothing in the pictures on this board comes anywhere close to showing the quality of the carvings produced by both Lynn and Mark.
Lynn , I would like to make a suggestion to you , every so often you need to add a photo that has something of known Size to show the size of your carvings . They sure were not what I expected they were so very much more ! |

| | Re: Dayton Woodcarving Show - Day 1 Lynn, Great to finally meet you, in person, and see your carving with my own eyes. And speaking of eyes, those of you who have not seen Lynns carvings with the eye treatment are really missing something special. I'll bet I brought 6 friends over to Lynns table and all were super impressed, and none missed commenting on the carvings finish, detail, presentation, and eyes. Also able to meet Mark and see his work too. Photographs are great, but cannot beat standing right in front of the carving with the carver beside you. Marks work is fantastic. Comments about the level of competition are right on. And both Lynns and Marks ribbons will attest to that. Thanks Lynn for sharing the photos.
