Default Dayton Show WOW!!! OMG!

I would just like to say that the Dayton show was awsome! I have never been to a carving show and it completely blew me away! I met Lynn O. Doughtry, Dave Steston and others as well. I met people whose books are on my shelf! To me I might as well be meeting Tom Hanks! These people in my eyes are just as big of celeberties then any movie stars. The show was more than I excepted it was a lot bigger and so much better than I could have dreamed. Although I had heard from several people that it is the best show in the country so I started out at the best and really if other shows are even half as good as that one was...WOW! I am just on over load right now, everyone I met was super nice and to see the all the different styles and ways people carve. My only regret is that I did not take a camera and I did not take enough money. I did however buy a couple ramelson v-tools and a helvie knife (awsome knife) and some wood from heineke but I could have spent so much more time and money. I just want to say that it was so worth the trip out there. I took my father in-law with and he is into woodworking mustly furinature and stuff and even he was blown away by the stuff that he saw too. So my hat is off to everyone at the Dayton carving show!
