Question Re: Damage control

My goodness, not only did you share some great ideas with me...... but there is great comfort knowing that this happens to others, also!

Now, can I still use a stain and sealer, or do I have to paint it after the repair?

Default Re: Damage control

Moulding Glue, like Lynn said, works very well as it is very tacky and the pieces being glued do not slide around, so you can hold it together, at times I have used the blue painter's tape to hold pieces together and then carve off the glue squeeze out before it completely sets. Super Glue Gel is thicker than regular Super Glue and is a gap filler, if needed. The thing to do is to expirement with glue.
