Default Dam...All Those Old Oak Trees....

down, and busted all to Hell.....
I live in Parkersburg, IA., some of you have probably heard/seen that we had an F5 tornado blast it's way thru our town just a tad over three weeks ago.
We were lucky, the tornado missed us by just one half a block, but as I ride around town, I see so many of the old growth oak trees being taken down and used for fire wood.....too bad, soo sad!!!!!

Dull Knife: We're all pulling for you all up there!
Have you set aside some of that oak to carve?
Yes it would be tough carving, but could make some impressive stuff.

One thing about trees and most of Mother Nature. They have a lot more patience than we do. Those trees will grow back in good time and some day will be old growth. Ain't gonna be tomorrow, but it will happen. You folks will recover also, may take some time and perseverance, but you will make it, just hang in there. We'll be pulling for you.
