The mirror is from Indonesia. Some of the best carvers in the world are from there, several generations. I've seen unbelievable carvings from there that were 70 plus years old. The mirror is virtually new. Their tools are probably all hand made out of airplane wreckage and other scrap metal, but they learned from their ancestors how to do beautiful work!
While I like American made, I sure don't begrudge a man on the other side of the world working with his hands and mind to feed his wife and children. Everybody's got to eat!
