Default Cutting Triangular Blanks

In the WCI Whittling supplement that came out this Summer there was an inset that told how to make an angled jig for cutting triangular blanks. It appears in the article on carving the 5-minute wizard on page 24. I really could use one of these jigs but don't have the means to make one. Is there anyone out there that would be willing easily make one for me...I am more than willing to pay for all costs including shipping. Thanks.

Try the local high school or vocational school. They should be able to help you out. Anyone with a table saw also could do this. If you are using it on a band saw, could you use the band saw to cut it out? Just thinking out of the box.

I've been meaning to make one of those for myself for a while. I can make one for you at the same time. How long do you want it to be?

Once I get the saw setup, it won't take much longer to make a dozen then to make two.

Anybody else need one?

Thanks Brian...I would really appreciate it so much! I think about 12" should do the trick. No rush...just whenever you get set up. Send me a PM and I can give you my address.

BuffaloBif,
The jig we are discussing is a 2x4 with a V cut out of the middle. This will support a square stick in a way that makes it easy to cut into a pair of triangular sticks.
