Default the creativity of references

hi, i just added some free thoughts on our blog "the creativity of references", where i talk about "carving from the mind" versus "carving with references" and what this has to do with creativity, and with learning from each carving... might not be for everyone, but maybe it is interesting for some...

Doris - I can relate to your thoughts on "the creativity of references" and learning from each carving. You (and Mark) are professionals, and perhaps are required to carve to the expectations of clients, but you clearly have examined the process you are going through. It shows in the variety of your work.

Excellent topic Doris, I left a comment on your site in reply.

You are quickly becomming a professional Doris. Your work has steadily improved with your practice and I have no doubt that you will be selling pieces soon. Patience my dear, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Bob
