A Couple New Guys

I put a couple new Santas on our PT site - http://www.picturetrail/carvers-r-us

One of them is my first carving done in White Pine - boy, what great wood to carve. SO much better than the yellow pine I can get around here.

Young lady you are an amazing artist. I never tire looking at your carvings. Your attention to detail is second to none. I love the carvings done out of white pine and agree with you it is beautiful stuff to carve. That is one wood I can get plenty of here. Again the scene at the bottom of the robe just made that carving. I sure hope that I get the chance to meet you some day and sit down an carve with you. You are definatly one heck of a 'Santa carvin lady'

Wow! as usual, I'm so amazed by the Santas and most of all the quality paint job that you add to the finished carving. You are definatly someone I look to when I want to inspire myself to make better Santa carvings. Keep inspiring us!

Thanks Bette! No chance I'll ever be as prolific as Teri though, she's in a class all by herself, hmmm, I was thinking she had been cloned but maybe she has elves!

Thank you Bette! My aging mother was the recepient of my first Santa and boy was I glad she enjoyed it because it's getting really hard to find something she hasnt received before. I will probably begin my next Santa in the early fall when things slow down a bit again. I really hope to improve with time. Take care! Claude
