Default A couple more recent carvings

Here are a few more carvings that I recently finished or are in the process of finishing. I'm not sure yet how or what kind of setting to put these in. Any suggestions?

The little round guy is my political statement. His name is A.Tap Politician
which translates "All things to all people" and the lady is mrs. A.Tap

Then the two cowboys are simply what they are, cowboys.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

They look great Mark. I really like the way you've stepped her hair like that!
Not sure about scenes and settings but I'm sure I know who wears the pants! LOL!

Nice carvings, Mark! At the risk of being politically incorrect, I'd suggest carving a basket or two of money to put by his feet, and a simple base.

Nice carvings Mark .. but on the cowboy 's .. you have the body down well .. but thin the outside of the faces and cheeks a little more next time .. remember .. the face is like a egg .. a oval shape and next time try that and I think you will like it better .. Carving A Little Guy Face In The Flat Plane Style

your doing great

Gene

Gene,
Thanks for viewing my carvings and thanks for the instruction. I did this cowboy before I found your videos on you tube. I am working on a little Hill Billy that I will post when finished. I think the videos helped but I will wait to see if you agree. thanks again.

safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Sorry, my mistake I Cliked the wrong key, anyway I was trying to post my first quote to say hello to all. Wish someone could explain how the system works i.e. how to introduce myself. Wish you all good health and lots of good carving days.
