There is a perfect little bear asleep in the fork. See the picture below.

Hi Davey. I like the idea of putting a fish on it because I like carving fish. In fact, I just finished mounting a nice brown trout that I carved on a piece of cottonwood root. Since the piece is so attractive as is, another idea would be to make a lamp out of it.

I did not notice the date until after making the post - had no idea that the message board would take me back that far. I am not very experienced navigating around these internet sites.

Alex thats cool, maybe you woke everyone up, I know there were a lot of good suggestions posted, You just shook the boat, ya didn't sink it.
