Default Cottonwood bark for carving

I just posted this. If you know anyone who needs bark for carving, I would sure appreciate you passing it on. I thought I would do some bark carving but never got to it and I dont want it to go to waste. From what I found on the net, I am selling it cheap. I would love for someone to take the whole stack. I hope it goes fast.

Any chance on getting some shipped to Md? Bark is scarce on the east caost and cost a fortune to get it from canada. Would be willing to compensate above the bark and shipping cost for your troubles.

Sorry Mitch, I didn't see this till now. I am a bit new to this style of forum. I am going to cut and past the craigslist post here. It has my number, so call me next time you are in the area.
As far as shipping it, I don't know. I looked at the flat rate boxes that the post office has and I would have to cut the stuff up to make it fit them. I need to find some boxes that are a foot wide and two foot long. I looked at office depot and they didn't have anything close.

$200.00 for the whole pile...........

"craigslist add"
I have a pile of cottonwood bark that I need to sell or trade. Most of the bark is 1 ½ to 2 1/2 inches thick. The bark came from trees planted in 1890 and had to be taken down. I cut the bark in 10 to 12 inch wide vertical strips that are just over 8 feet long. Some of the bark is in smaller pieces that broke off the larger ones.
I am selling the large strips -- 8+ feet long for $20.00 each
-- Loose pieces for $10.00 an arm full (as much as you can carry)
