Hey I think I remember getting an email from you when I was running the website there. You requested a decal which I sent if I remember right. I have moved to upstate NY since then. Sure do miss those folks. They were more than a club. More like a family. I learned to carve from them. Very supportive bunch!

Don,

There should be a club just to the south of where you're at now. I believe its the Southtown carvers...Coffeman might be able to help you there. I know that they are sponsoring a visit from P&V Bishop in August.

So how do you like the "lake effect"?

I am no stranger to lake effect but must have had a memory lapse . It has been awful down here. Got 14 inches of snow a couple days ago and then the wind started blowing off the lake and I have 5 foot drifts to deal with. I have already joined the South towns club. They don't seem to be as active as my old club in Colorado but I will give them a chance. It's a long drive to where they meet from the lake!

...I put myself on the waiting list for Phil&Viki's visit in August. Know the distance sinnce my out-laws live in Ransomville.

...don't know who's winning the golden snowball this year but I heard that Rochester has already had over 100" this year, but yeah this last one was the largest we had all year...
