Whoa Colin! You had some competition in B.C.. The Dolphins were great, can't wait to see the rest of the entries. And on this scale these are all done in 4 days? Amazing. Don

I just check out your pics from the carving compitition. those are all very accomplished carvers ( yourself included)
You had mentioned that the town keeps the carvings on display. How long do they keep them, do they sell them? or auction them?
I liked your's with the face in the back peeking through the hair.

The town keeps the carvings as of this date I think there are over 200 on display in various places in town. Most of them are on the sea walk that runs all through Campbell River. If a local merchant wants one at his business he pays a fee of $100.00 and he gets to keep it at the business for a year he is also responsible to make sure that it is maintained and stained.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone I will be sure to let you know when they update their site so you can see all the carvings.
