Default Colin is back and with pictures

Hi Gang,
Well I am finally back it has been a long day but I am not really tired I am still on west coast time. Well we had four days of absolutly glorious weather sun, sun and more sun. What a great time we all had. I didnt place anywhere with my carving but then I dont go to win I go to be a part of it all.
I have posted a picture of my carving on the picture trail web site under 'Other Stuff' I posted five pictures of the carving from start to finish for some reason they loaded on picture trail backwards so look at the 5th picture first and then work up. I named my carving 'A gathering of woodspirts'. There were 35 carvers there and we sure made a lot of big woodchips and a whole pile of sawdust.

Colin,.....'Welcome Back'......I love your carving and your creativity......Its a winner in my book......Does the group that puts on this annual event have a web page? I'd like to view those carvings too, assuming they have a pic gallery?

Don't forget to add this carving to your web page, its a great piece to show others.

Coffeman follow this link to the last years contest and pictures there are lots of them so it will take you a while to view the whole contest. I have some pictures of some of the other carvings I will post some on picturetrail tomorrow. For some reason I didnt get a lot of them something happened to my digital camera so I will have to wait for the organizers to update the site with this years pictures. I will be sure to let you know when it is up it will probably take a month or so but for sure I will let you know. Thanks for the nice comments looking forward to seeing some of your latest work.

Good to see you back with us Colin. I'm glad you had a good time and got to make some wood chips. Sounds like you got yourself 'recharged' with some carving energy.

Regards,

bob

Hi gang,
As promised here are some pictures of some of the other carvings that were carved during the five day event. As I said my digital was not working properly there were 36 contestants and these are all the pictures I have. Elmer did a great carving I am sure he will post a picture when he gets back, the one I took of his carving didnt come out. The carvings can be viewed on picture trail on the other carvings I will attempt to add a link hope that it works. http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...&members=1
