Default :Coffee Mug Friend:

Yester day,carved another flower pot hanger and this little squirrel loves drinking my coffee. Guess I have a carving buddy now.

Hes 2 3/8's wide,tall at 2 3/4 inches,painted with acrylics.

I did the best thing Ive done in a while last night? My wife and her sister have been attending Aerobic water excises twice a wk. I agreed to try it also,my health has been going down every year,most days Im in this art room,carving or some sort of art work plus taken my dogs out 3-4 times day/nights is the only exercise I get. {Its called sit down and you go down}

It was fun plus at times I made 50-65 people laugh,you know me!! But I did good,had my 02 tank on the side of the pool near where I was standing in the water. The instructor said,come on girls Forrest is beating yall. Yea right. I was sore hurting in some areas last night but waking this morning,I felt good. I will go back tomorrow eveing.

The hard part was after being in the pool,it was cold walking back to the dressing rooms. I got a call on my cell last night?? Forrest do you have a pink flower type of bathsuit with white ruffles on it?? ?? Yea,you left your bathsuit in the mens locker room. She bring it to me tomorrow night. I thanked her and she told me,you did great. There was ladies I know had to be in thier late 80's or 90's plus a younger people. Tomorrow Im taken my ski's and open my tank on full blast,have it on my back to shoot me through the water!! Fun Fun,beats run Forrest run!
I will be off the board here for a while,I have some painting I have to get done for some art shows,so dont think I kicked the bucket. {where is that bucket anyways}

Your thoughts or comments on my squirrel coffee drinking buddy are welcome. Thks'

Hanging 10 in the pool,then I will see what else I can do!Forrest

Awesome little squirrel Forrest, and a great story. You are right about the exercise, it will keep you alive! A carving friend of mine is in his mid 70's, he walks several miles every morning, you can not believe the amount of energy this man has plus he is very sharp and has an awesome memory. Keep up the good work!

Dave

Hey Forrest,

This sure is a great little buddy to be sharing your coffee with in the morning (or if you're like me, all day long!). Hope you're doing well hanging 10 in the pool with your oxy gin tank. Just be sure to keep your skivies on - they might not appreciate you skinny dipping for therapy!

Your Mass friend,

Mark

Ok, now this made me really laugh, 'cause I can just picture you in that pink and white ruffled suit! LOL I'd give every carving I have in my larder to witness that sight, my friend! The squirrel is so big and fat, I'm surprised he can hang on there....he looks EXACTLY like the ones that chase my chippies up north. Great job, as usual, and it looks like you've got yourself another winner!....Loved him, Forrest, Bonnie

Forrest ole buddy, now that is just too darn cute by far. You're going to have to carve a whole parcel of them hanging critters for sure. They will sell like hot cakes. Well done. Joe.

Hi Forrest, Well you are starting out slow on making your Cup Hangers things will pick up pretty soon and you will be on the same line as the Twilite Wolves. Ha,Ha. You do realize that by going to the water excersizes you can skip the Saturday Bath, don't need one. Ha,Ha. Good job Ole Friend,Stay Well. Merle

Thats a great little critter-buddy ya made. I really like the hang-on-to-stuff animals. I am sure the exercise will be of great benefit to you. In addition to the muscles, it will strengthen your lungs and improve your breathing..I have seen pulmonary rehab do wonders for folks, and hope it does for you what I have seen in others. keep at it and you will stick around a long, long time.
