For our clubs second months carving challange, the secret item was a basswood dowel 6" X 1.5", here are the results brought in by our members, it fun to see what a different approach everyone is taking towards the carving project, some casrve away, others diesect, re-glue & carve away, regardless its been lots of fun and its real neat seeing the carvings come in. Hope you enjoy. Bill

You have some talented members! I never would have thought of some of those. One kinda looks like Sean Connery?

what a great project for the club, and I really enjoyed seeing what everyone's done with their piece. People's crativity never ceases to amaze me. That's part of what's so great about this message board, too. Thanks for showing the pix, Bill! Mark |

Great Idea. For anyone else wanting to do something like this ...how was it setup? How long did the club members have to work on their projects ? Thanks.
