Default Club Slug

I know what you are thinking, and that isn't what I meant by 'Club Slug' although it might make a nice award.

I had a #3 and #5 wood (golf clubs), several carved caricature faces on golf balls, and a box of golf tees.
I do not play golf, but I love torturing golfers by cutting up good golf balls and clubs. I buy the clubs for $2.99 each; and pay 10 cents each for the balls at a second-hand store.

I am sure most of you have seen the wood golf club turned into a duck. Well, here in the Northwest we have slugs; they look like a large snail without a shell. They average about five inches long; with some specimens reaching nearly a foot.
They come in various colors with most being black or a pale green.

Anyway, that was my inspiration to create the 'Club Slug'.
Using the wood part of the club for the body, I added a pre-carved golf-ball head. To complete the slug, I installed two golf tees for antennae. With a tilt and twist to the head, there you have it; 'The Club Slug'.

Remember: You saw it here first! Have fun, Rick-in-Seattle

....and when visiting the great northwest, be sure to attend the annual slug festival in Seattle. Side attraction include slug slime cleaning contest, the slug rodeo (which attracts cowboys from around the country) and the traditional slug carving contest. (Hey if you can carve golf balls why not slugs).
