Civil War Soldier Patterns

Can anyone direct me to some sample patterns of carving civil war soldier busts. I have Tom Wolfe's book, "Carving the Civil War" but am looking for some specific patterns on just the busts. I saw Arnold Smith carve one at the recent Charlotte show and would be interested in some patterns like that. Also, does anyone know Arnold's email?

Hello and welcome. If you have not done so do a search on civil war soldiers or civil war bust here on theforum. There have been several posted lately, you may be able to sketch out one for yourself.

Mark Akers just did a tutorial in carving mag. of a civil war bust. Perhaps contact him about it. Here is the one I did from his pattern.
