Default Church Desk

I put this in off topic 'cause there is not much carving on it but I thought I would show what I have been doing the last few weeks after my knee replacement. Could only work a 'coupla hours a day or 'til my knee started to ache too much.
The letters IBC stand for Immanuel Baptist Church and it was made for our choir secretary at her request. Made of Cherry and finished with lacquer.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I had a really hard time with this thing as I haven't made any furniture in 10 years, had lots of mistakes to either re-do or cover up. I guess it turned out okay in the end though as the church liked it.

An old timer once told me that it wasn't the fact that you could complete a perfect project, we're all human, but the fact that a master can learn to disguise or cover up your errors so that only you can find them.

That was a great and meaningful project - Congrats
Bob
