Santa Sandy,
How do you know I need bun warmers I dont recall posting any pictures of my buns on picture trail LOL . I agree I really dont need anything in this world I am a very rich person. I have my health I have three healthy children that are doing great two healthy grandchildren that are the greatest gifts that I have ever recieved. I have enough tools (if you can ever have enough tools) I would also like to see world peace but unfortunalty that is not going to happen. I wish I could stop all the suffering in the world but I cannot. I pray for all those young men and women that are around the world in our armed forces making this a better world for us to live in, and cant be with their families this Christmas. Last of all I hope for a safe and happy Christmas season to everyone on this message board, and Santa Sandy if you have a couple of chisels or knifes left over just leave them under the tree. (As I said before you can never have enough tools).
Colin

Santa, I ask that I remember the Christ in Christmas, that I 'grow up' a little bit in the new year, that I'm a better, bigger person.
And, I sure wouldn't mind if I could carve a face with the beauty of Callynne, anything with the charm of Teri, something with the skill of Al Archie, the dazzle of the Gibbs, ......... shoot, Santa, you get the picture . Please put some SKILL in my stocking.

God bless us one and all.

Nancy,
I have seen your carvings you have all the skill in the world. I agree that the carvers you mention are wonderful carvers but everyone is a wonderful carver we are just all different and that is what makes us unique.

Santa (or great and powerful OZ) please bring me Courage, That Dove cane I spoke of several times is looking really really good except I don't have the guts to finish carving the head. I guess I am the Cowardly Lion of carving. I would really like to get this done this weekend so I could deliver the cane to the freind it is intend for before the New Year.
Ah Chip
PS: the lathe I bought over Thanksgiving weekend has created a cool new distraction that is also contributing to the delay of the cane, 'if I only had a brain...' Turning is alot like carving but it makes chips alot faster.
