Default Chip Carving Show

I've never tried chip carving before and really didn't have an interest in it until yesterday. Barry McKenzie hosted a show over in LEbanon, Missouri so I took a ride over there to see what it was all about. Pretty neat stuff! The show wasn't very big (but neither are any of the towns in this area), but there were alot of great people there. I talked with several carvers, one in particular Otis Ramsey from Springfield showed me the basics of gouge chip carving - alot easier then I had imagined! Now all I have to do is finish up some of my other carvings so I can give it a try.
