Default chip carved egg

Thought I would try a chipcarved egg...the base is a piece of scrap from the bin, kind of fun to do....

Good looking egg......chip carving is really "eggsacting"....no doubt it takes a lot of patience. That's one phase of carving I don't think I'd try.

Gosh! that's realy nice. How do you hold the egg when carving? If I did it, it would have to be a red easter egg. TOM H

Neat base and a clean well proportioned carving. I tried a couple of those a few years back.
Now I remember why I sold my chip carving knives!
