Default chess sets

Just joined (and a novice to art and craft of woodcarving)... A question: where can one find a pattern(s) for carving a set of chess pieces? I've done a couple of sets with the scroll saw and am looking for a source(s) of a woodcarving set.

Rick at Little Shavers was nice enough to put a pattern for a set of chess pieces on his web-site. Here's a link:

Free Chess Set Pattern from Little Shavers

This link getting some interest. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've posted it for someone here.

Hello Mike - depending on the kind of set you'd like to carve of course - but why not design it yourself? That way you can suit it to your style and the tools you have - and also get the satisfaction of doing the job all by yourself.
