Default Cherry Cordial Creme

Here's a little bowl that I carved out of a piece of cherry firewood. My wife says it looks like a large spoon. I said, no it's a bowl!

Anyways, I found the happy little bowl hiding in the piece of firewood shown in the first picture.

The last picture shows that it is indeed a bowl. The Hershey Kisses are Cherry Cordial Creme. H'mmm, I think that would be a fitting thread title Smile.

The wood is black cherry. Carved with hand tools. Finished with 2 coats Min-Wax Antique Oil and 2 coats Johnson's Paste Wax.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Brian, you did a great job on that bowl. I really like your design. I've been thinking of making a cherry spoon for my wife but the design eludes me.

That is one beautiful bowl Brian! The "bowl" part didn't really click with me until I saw that last picture and the Hershey Kisses put it into the proper perspective. I love black cherry too!

Thanks for sharing this.
