just wanted to remind everyone there will be a woodcarving show in charlotte, nc febuary 16th and 17th. if you are close and can attend this is a great show with alot of folks from the board there. hope to see ya'll there.

Count me in! We'll be going down on Friday and staying straight through the weekend! Look forward to seeing the gang and maybe meeting up with some other members from the board! It's a great weekend of carving!

Maybe they could feature Arnold in WCI as the next great stone carver! Maybe the guys from Smoky Mountain and Tom Wolfe will be a little nicer to you this time Arnold! Not sure if I will be bringing much either. Probably do a lot of looking and hope to get some tips from you professionals!

as far as i know i'm not going to make it this year either. can't really afford it. but good luck arnold. i hope you get first pick on the stones. remember sand stone doesn't hold good detail. good luck guys and girls.

It was a good show.....and was I had a blast with all the board members attending. Arnold, Bart, Blake, Mark, Tony, Hobo, and JimmyB were there....not sure if I got everyone.... Missed Lance. It was good to see their families and friends also.

Tony got a picture that we may be able to post later on. I'll let the others fill in the details of the show (there were winners)...

Overall the number of carvings seemed a bit down - the Intermediate group was well represented and quite competitive. That was a positive sign.
