Teri, how does that work? Do you pay them to make the reproductions, or do they take a percentage of the sales, or do they sell and give you a percentage of the sales?

Dave, when they asked to reproduce my stuff, there was a negotiation process that ensued between them and my 'agent' (the boys at RTB). In the end, I get a percentage of each reproduction they sell, and a few free sets. It really isn't a great money-maker - the point, I'm told, is to get your name out there, drive up the prices of your originals, and to give folks who can't afford originals a way to own one of your pieces.

This is the first year they'll be selling them, so it'll be interesting to see how it really works out.

Not a great money maker? yeh probably for you, but I will bet they do just fine! They all seem to come up with that like it is a losing proposition, but I notice they keep doing it! I hope for your sake it isn't the same bunch that lost the 50 carvings! Afraid I would have said some 'bad words'!! LOL

I really have no doubt they will sell exceptionally well.

They're selling pretty well so far, from what I hear - at least on the wholesale market. Shipments are happening now, I believe, to all the stores that ordered them from the wholesaler. Reasons to Believe is carrying them, if you want to see the pieces of crap that got reproduced! LOL
(Bear in mind, though, they are MY pieces of crap, duplicated beautifully by EFY!)
