I've not really seen one up close to know, but what information should be on one? Just name and number or is there more that should be on it for future reference? Like.. 182 years from now. (yes I watch the "Antique Roadshow") Do I print up my own or do I have to find a template to print out or are they bought somewhere else? I know these are probably stupid questions but I dont know who else to ask. |

I would include your name and if you have a nickname under which you work use that as well. Then include the town and state or province where you live. Plus of couse the date. Oh, and a title for the work. You could also include what wod you used, estimate of time ... 60 hours ... and if the piece was made for a specific commission or specific person. Staples has some wonderful pre-printed certificate papers that you can then run through your printer to add the info. You may want on the back to include your full contact info ... phone number, website, email address. Certificates are saved with the art so if the customer wants another work from you they know how to contact you. Susan |

Thank you Irish. I had no idea. I know some of it was just common sense, but I didnt know if there was more information included to keep better track of your products or for the new owners or antique dealers a hundred years from now would appreciate. Thank you. |
