Celebrity Wood Carvers

I was watching home and garden TV last night (with my wife) and we saw a show on log homes. Walt Garrison (former Dallas Cowboys player) was one of the homes displayed.

They showed his 'whittlin room' and some of his carvings. Pretty good stuff.

I was wondering how many celebrities are wood carvers?

Do you know any personally?

I don't know ANY celebreties!@ Not too many around here and not much reason for one to come here unless they are making a promo for snowblowers, or snow tires!

I know a guy with 2 purple hearts and a silver star ... that's celebrity enough for me.

Those are HEROES, Ed, NOT celebreties. I haven't met a medal recipient yet who claimed celeb status. They all seem to want to live quiet lives and get back to a peaceful existence. Those guys a true heroes!

But I know exactly what you mean.

Of course, he was a celebrity because he was a hero.
