| | Cedar Bird House Saw This Bird House On This Site Someplace, Decided To Try It. Hollowed It Out With The Band Saw, And Carved A Face On It. Hope The Birds Arn't Afraid Of The Face.

| | Re: Cedar Bird House Hugh , It really makes me feel good when someone wants to carve something I did especially when they do such a great job. I like the way you hollowed out the piece of cedar. I made mine out of 6 pieces of cedar slabs from a saw mill |

Kitaye, I put a metal band around the pole for the bird house, and place the pole far enough from trees that the squirrels can't jump onto the pole or bird house.
