Default Cedar Bird House

Saw This Bird House On This Site Someplace, Decided To Try It. Hollowed It Out With The Band Saw, And Carved A Face On It. Hope The Birds Arn't Afraid Of The Face.

Hugh , It really makes me feel good when someone wants to carve something I did especially when they do such a great job. I like the way you hollowed out the piece of cedar. I made mine out of 6 pieces of cedar slabs from a saw mill

Very cool concept. Maybe it will keep the squirrels out of the nest.

Thats impressive Al, I wondered how you hollowed your birdhouse. Did you leave air vents for circulation??

Kitaye, I put a metal band around the pole for the bird house, and place the pole far enough from trees that the squirrels can't jump onto the pole or bird house.

I thought about it Dave, but put the screw there instead. I'm always doing things wrong, and was sure I'd get criticism for doing that, grin.
