Default Caution - Female Form (Nude)

The last time I edited a female form, the members gave me feedback that I should not have put black bars on the pictures...so I hope no one is offended by the nude form I am posting. This is one of two projects I took on during a carving retreat this past week. I'll post the other carving in another thread. This is my own design but the instructor made the posture much more challenging for me with one shoulder back, the head slightly to the side, one hip to the side and the legs position is supposed to show weight distribution to one side. She stands approx. 12-14 inches high, carved in basswood, and treated with a light stain and a sealer. I'll be putting more pictures on my site eventually to show different angles. Forms are a challenge for anyone who has not tried them. Hope you like my rendition of a female form.
Patrick

She is beautiful Patrick. A very nice carving. I like the pose, very natural. Well done, thanks for sharing. I find nothing offensive about the naked human form in art. The human body can be such a thing of beauty. Joe.

Josef, Dave and Randy. Thank you for your comments. Forms are something I need to do now and again to force the right side of my brain to work harder. I learned as much about anatomy as I did carving during the course. Glad you like her.
