Default catonsville knifes

The Catonsville Pocket and Pen Knife Company sells a number of different types of knifes. You can find them easily on the internet by typing in their name.

I am considering one of their fixed blades for carving. Have any of you ever purchased their knifes, and if so do you recommend them?

Thanks.

Are they a manufacturer or reseller of other company's knives? Foreign made?

Update- they used to be all over ebay, they are no longer there. i just took a look at their vendio store, they have knives from many manufacturers, most of which are not in the USA. They do not appear to be a manufacturer, some knives from UK, some from Pakistan, Germany- not going to be possible to give a reseller a rating overall, I think....

Spent a little more time on Catonsville's vendio site, found a Rough Rider RR565 Dual Whittler- this is an excellent knife, I own it and use it regularly. Bought it for $15 including shipping, Catonsville price $25 plus shipping. I think you can do better elsewhere.

I don't Live far from them. They do have a building but I really wouldn't call it a store. Its a little family run bussiness of a husband daughter and wife. In thier day they did furniture carving and restoration and the owner is a knifesmith. Thier quality run the gamet from china imports to swiss and german made knives. I have bought some really nice knives from them over the years and have even bought some of the cheaper stuff and it has held up well for a bench knife/ prybar, Scraper or what ever and the cheaper knives keep me from using my good knives for the wrong purposes.
