I finally finished this piece and thought I share. As you can see by the picture it is only 6 inches long. The gothic arch looking things were supposed to be cutouts but the wood was to hard and I was afraid I would ruin it. It turned out looking pretty good. I finished with several grits of sandpaper and then oiled the wood using Terra Nova Naturoil (circa 1876 brand). |
