Default Casting Carvings

I was curious about what was involved in making reproductions of carvings. I'm not quite sure what you call the process (casting?) or what material is used (resin? plaster?) so I'm having trouble finding information on it.

Is this something that you can do yourself? How much time and expense is involved?

Kim,

It's a bit complicated...We ran two articles on it in WCI...in issues 22 and 23. It's pretty involved process.

I know others on the board have posted about a company that makes castings, but I don't know about that...

None are in the works (that I know right now) but I'll pass the idea on to our book acquisitions team!
