Default Carving wet wood treated with PEG?

I should probably just stay away from this topic but I'm wondering if any of you have carved green wood that's been treated with PEG (polyethylglycol - my spelling may be wrong).
I'd like to know what you felt where the positives and negatives.

I've turned burled and crotch pieces that I've treated with PEG but never carved it. Thus far I've not had much of a problem with cracking in turned pieces. Also, I didn't notice any additional wear, buildup or corrosive effects on my tools.

Kiln drying often times actually increases internal tension. Especailly when brought up to temp too fast. I've had some woods where the exterior was harder than the interior (I think they call it case hardening). Sometimes bad enough that the wood will actually snap when a portion of it is cut away.

Anyway, I have access to some burles that are green and I'm thinking of trying to carve them green after their bath in the PEG.
